The Document Control Manager will facilitate system selection and set up including definition and implementation of processes, policies, and procedures to establish document management best practices across the projects.
Setting policies and procedures, and creating system(s) to establish document management best practices across the project.
Implementing a document management department and system in line with the needs of the project.
Leading the document control team and providing effective direction of the departmental staff.
Manage deadlines and ensure appropriate communication is provided.
Liaising with IT to ensure all document management equipment (hardware, software, etc.) is maintained.
Developing and implementing work processes and procedures such as Engineering Document Control, Correspondence Control, Contract or Vendors Data Management, Standards Management, Project Standards and Document Numbering.
Provide daily on-the-job training.
Strong MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio. Strong computer skills, including systems such as Sharepoint, M-Files, etc
