Mr. Toufic Chahine is the Chairman of WesternZagros Limited. He has over 40 years international experience in investment advisory, development, operations, and management in various sectors.
Mr. Chahine has been representing companies in various countries of the Middle East including Cyprus, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, UAE and Lebanon, for over twenty years. His experience includes investments in the Oil & Gas sector (exploration, development, production, transportation, and refining).
Previously, Mr. Chahine was a Vice President for a real estate development company based in Houston. He was responsible for built-to-suit projects with new developments and renovations, and property management. He was also a Senior Associate with CRSS, a leading Houston based Architectural/Engineering/Construction Management firm, where he headed the Facilities Planning Department.
Mr. Chahine holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science degrees in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and was registered as a Professional Engineer in the states of Texas and New York. In 1986, he received the CRSS Quality Service Award. He has lectured at the Math Department of the Lebanese American University and at the School of Engineering of the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
Mr. Chahine is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
